New MyVi This 4th June

Our road will be flooded with MyVi again. The design is more or less the same.
For me it is not so impressive and its like a facelift for Myvi only.
What engine that they will put on? A 1.5L? But better stay with 1.3L as 1.5L will consume more petrol. Just my 2 cent. But we had to wait to confirm, it just around the corner already.

Unwrapping Logitech®Anywhere Mouse M905

Just bought a new mouse for my laptop. A cute little Logitech® Anywhere Mouse M905
It is a good product but quite pricey. Anyway, here goes the UNWRAPPING tHe MouSe

Product Description
Logitech® Anywhere Mouse is a series of computer mice manufactured to take advantage of the DarkField technology. This is a new form of movement-tracking method does not use the traditional optical laser; instead, it detects the micro-grooves along the surface and tracks mouse movement based on changes in the groove pattern. Therefore, Anywhere Mouse generally works well on virtually any surfaces, including shiny and reflective tables. Its good if you usually travel a lot because some hotel or even some cafe got glass table. So this mouse suite well.

Measuring at a dimension of 90.5 x 63.0 x 34.5 millimeters, it is a mid-sized mouse designed with portability in mind. This good companion for your laptop. Logitech has trimmed down the wireless receiver to be extremely small so that it can be left in the USB port permanently – even when transporting the notebook in a laptop bag. However, if there is a need to detach the wireless receiver, it can be pulled out and be safely stored within a compartment in the mouse. If you had other Logitech device that support unifying, then you only need 1 receiver. It can connect up to 5 devices. Sounds good right. :)

Although it quite pricey but it comes with 3 years warranty. Peace of mind for 3 years.

As a summarize the M905.

Taking care of your tint.

If you just bought a new car and had done tint on the window,, there are a few things that you need to know about how to care for and clean them. You need to know how to take care . Here are some tips of taking care your tint

Rolling windows down:
It is recommend that you leave your windows up for at least minimum of 48 hours (2 days) after they are tinted. This will allow the film time to adhere to the glass so it will not peel when it is finally rolled down. It would be better if you leave it for a few days more.

Drying time:
For the first few days after your windows are tinted they will be cloudy, hazy, and you may see little water pockets forming in the tint. This is normal! When windows are tinted, the squeegee can only remove a certain amount of the water from between the film, and the glass. As the film dries, the remaining water will form little pockets. These will simply evaporate and go away by themselves. The amount of time before your new tint will be totally dry is determined by the amount of sunlight it gets. If it's cloudy and overcast outside, it will take longer, if it's hot and sunny, then the film dries very quickly but the average time is around 30 days.

Cleaning:

You also should be careful not to touch the window tint for a few days and do not clean it for the first month.
1. Leave it alone for awhile.
2. Clean with soft cloth, sponge or regular household paper towel. Never use a hard cloth, brown paper towel, or newspaper for cleaning tinted windows. Harsh papers and rags scratch the tint.
3. Use soap and water for cleaning. It is not good to use any ammonia based product, such as Windex, when cleaning window tint. Over time, use of ammonia can react with the tint and cause blotching on your windows.
4. Be careful when removing your seat belt and holding your car keys. Metal objects such as seat belt buckles can scratch the surface of the window tint.
5. Take care when loading boxes and other items into your car. Hitting the tinted window will cause nicks.
6. Put stickers someplace else. Never use adhesives or suction cups to put anything on your tinted car windows. Leave the bumper stickers for your bumper.

Which tint for your lovely car?

Everybody that purchase a new would had a thought to tint the car. If not all but majority will thought of that. So, what will you select for your car lovely car. There are so many brand out that blooming taking the opportunity of the "global warming" to steal our money. hehe. So, you need to choose wisely which one you would go. Popular brand that you will came across like V-kool, 3M, Ecotint, Raytech etc. For security Llumar is quite popular, and also Solar Guard.

Terms being used to differentiate the performance of a film.

Visible Light Transmittance (VLT)Is the percentage of visible light that passes directly through filmed glass. The requirement from JPJ, the car need to have at lease 70% VLT for the front windscreen and 50% VLT for the side and rear windscreen. This is one of the factor that need to consider when selection tint.
Visible Light Reflected (VLR)
The percentage of visible light reflected back from filmed glass.
Ultraviolet Rejected (UVR)The percentage of ultraviolet light that is rejected by filmed glass.
Infrared Rejected (IRR)
Is the percentage of infrared ray that is rejected by filmed gl
ass. The higher the IRR rate, the cooler you car will be. But higher IRR also, it will affect our SmartTag or our GPS signals.
Total Solar Energy Rejected (TSER)
The percentage of total solar energy rejected by filmed glass.
Mil Thickness
Mil is the unit of measurement equal to one thousandth of an inch (.001"). Normally only security tint that do have this measurement, the higher th
e thickness, the higher changes to withstand external breakage.
After going through most of the major tint, at last i decide to choose Ecotint, coz it suit with the car tagline of "ECO' haha.
Done the tinted at Desa Sri Hartamas.

Desa Sri Hartamas

I choose the below specification, there is also option for Hybrid 4mil for security, but lastly i settle down with normal solar tint.

Ray Barrier (RB-01) VLT 63%, UVR 99%, IRR 95%,TSER 60%
Color : Sort of Blue
Infrared Series (IR-02) VLT=60% UVR=99% IRR=86%, TSER 54%
Color : Blue
Free Sandblast | Free 7" FWS Top | W
arranty 5 years
Being promised : Ecotint will settle if got summons from JPJ, Ecotint will replace if the tint being torn by JPJ.

The InstallationIt took almost 3 hours to tint my car by 2 professionals. While waiting for the job to finish, you can wait at the waiting area in the shop. There it got Astro, and only Astro, no DVD player, no free WIFI or internet etc. But Astro alone is sufficient to kill time.
If you are hungry, you can easily walk around the area to hunt for food.

Below are some of the heroes that tinting my car. Everything was good. The tint is done in a close air-conditioning area. The tinting shop, which is quit
e big,it can accommodate up to 4 cars in it

First They will inspect and check your mirror and remove all "label" or decals on the window.
It need to be completely free before they put on the tint. They they will cut the tint film into the shape of the car and fitted on the windscreen.

Lastly a word for advice, please inspect you car, especially the door panel after finish tinted.

And REMEMBER THIS (~_~)

Locktech or Locktact for my Honda Insight

What type of lock that are you using to secure your car? There is a quite of number of type of lock and also its brand. Brake lock is one of the option. Although it is not 100% secure, but it is better than nothing.

At this point of writing, there is no specific Locktact or Locktech that specifically made for
Honda Insight. It will take some times to have it in the market. But some of the accessories shop which is specialize for the lock, can source the right size for Honda Insight without need to customize the lock itself.

So, i just take it, but which brand should you take? Locktach which is locally made or the Locktech which is made in Thailand?

Loctact vs Locktech.

- Both are similar in function, both are double locking system.
- Both have the same warranty period that is 3 years.
- The only difference is the origin & price. Locktact is locally made so it is cheaper than Locktech which is made in Thailand. The difference is just around RM50~RM60 depend on shop.

For me I choose the Original Locktech since this lock needs to install once only and the difference in price also is not significant.

Locktact on Honda Insight.

Time to install the lock. It took around 20 minutes to install it to my car. Here are the photo taken after the installation done for my car. The installation does not required any wire cutting, it is just plug & play, so don't worry about voiding your car warranty.

Below are the Locktech on my Honda Insight.

How to use it, it is so easy, you only need to pull the lever and your car is lock. And you also can use the second lock if you need another protection.
