Purchase a SmartTAG

I had purchase new SmartTAG at KL Sentral for my daily usage. Below are some that information that i can share:


Price
RM120 for the SmartTAG only.
RM130 for the SmartTAG with Touch n Go card with RM 10 value.

What you will get:
1. A SmartTAG Device.
2. A SmartTAG Holder.
3. A GP Battery
4. Warranty Card.

Note: SmartTAG did not come in a proper box packaging.



Battery
1. Touch nGo recommended to use the same 9V battery GP model as what they provided.
2. They did not recommend to use Energizer or other battery because it might damage the SmartTAG due to the slightly different voltage between manufacturer.

Warranty & Repair
1. You can get 1 to 1 exchange within 10 days if your SmartTAG has problem.
2. The warranty cover for 1 year. If you got problem within that 1 year, just send it to Touch n Go. They will fix it without any charges.
3. After the 1 year period is over, and your SmartTAG has problem, Touch n Go will charge RM50 for every repair they make.

SmartTAG with Ecotint RayBarrier
I had tested the SmartTAG with my Ecotint RayBarrier in a few tolls. I can pass the tolls without any issue.
