Honda Insight 40K service

It had been a while since my last update on My Insight. Here it goes, my 40K service for Honda Insight.

Done my 40k service as below.

SM 0W-20 (Full Syn) RM 112.94 (25%)
Washer Drain 14mm RM 2.50
Oil Filter RM 23.01 (25%)
Set, Fuel Strainer RM 301.71 (15%)
CVTF RM 107.35 (15%)
Washer RM 5.88
Brake Fluid RM 16.85 (15%)
Element Filter RM 162.37 (15%)
Retainer RM 5.11 (15%)

For the 25% i use promotion coupon and for the 15% you just need to register as owner at honda website.

Here are some of details for each components.

SM 0W-20 (Fully Synthetic Oil)

This oil is recommended to all Honda models except Civic Type R and Accord V6 3.5. Bear in mind, this oil is recommended for gentle light-footed drivers. The oil offers a better acceleration response instantly after the oil change. Since the hybrid vehicles like Honda Insight, Honda CRZ and Civic Hybrid are operate with stop-start, this oil able to offer extra protection against deposits for stop-and-start engine condition.
Even though you are  using full synthetic, but still you cannot skip the 5000k service interval.
